Cancer Research & Genetics UK are donating £10000 to Professor Eeles research at the ICR.
“We, at The Institute of Cancer Research, London, are extremely grateful for the generous donation from Cancer Research and Genetics UK to sponsor the maintenance and servicing of our vital sequencing machine, MiSeq. This piece of equipment enables us to continue our work of identifying genetic variants contributing to prostate cancer predisposition. Your continued support of our mission to defeat cancer is invaluable.”
The MiSeq is one of the smallest benchtop sequencers that can perform onboard cluster generation, amplification, genomic DNA sequencing, and data analysis, including base calling, alignment and variant calling, in a single run.
