Pancreatic Cancer

What Is It?

The pancreas is quite high up in your abdomen. It lies across your body where your ribs meet at the bottom of your breastbone, just behind your stomach. The pancreas is a large gland. It makes digestive juices and insulin.

Symptoms

The main symptoms are:

Weight loss
Loss of appetite
General discomfort or pain around the stomach area
Back pain
Jaundice

There are other symptoms that you can have with cancer of the pancreas:

Diabetes
Itching
Sickness
Change in bowel movements
Fever and shivering
